OSL003 Scoy

Coming back to the capital "after" such a long time was a very joyous occassion for me. I didn't realize how much I missed it and how many old friends I hadn't seen in so long. So when my good friend Haru asked me to play at Cinema for his birthday I was thrilled.

Haru, a very wise man, once said to me, in Dominican Republic something you own breaks or go's missing everyday. Claro.

Two days before the gig at Cinema I passed out in the late afternoon and my macbook was left on the balcony. The horror of seeing my computer soaked in rain was actually no suprize, nor was the inability for the machine to boot up.

I spent the next 48 hours frantically trying to get my other computer, a desktop imac, ready to go. Stress!

I also just recently switched to Snow Leopard and all my programs, including Traktor, Ableton and the mappings to my new controller were wipped out after needing to do a fresh install when Snow Leopard was crashing. If ever see a Snow Leopard, I will shoot it between the eyes, I don't care if it is an endangered species!

Well to make a long story shit, I somehow managed to get everything sorted and had a blast at Cinema. I am still learning my new setup, which is the Akai APC40 together with Traktor.

The set has not been editted in anyway. The imperfections are there, but overall it sounds like a birthday party.
